BBC Television, 2009
A follow-up to the BBC’s award-winning Planet Earth nature documentaries, the Human Planet looks at the impact of human beings on their environment. For the Cambodia storyline, the BBC team featured the annual snake catch on the Tonle Sap Lake, the biggest single snake harvest in the world. This shoot included some underwater filming in the murky waters of the lake, as well as follow-up macro-photography of the various snake species found in the lake. Hanuman Films provided all permissions and logistical support for this shoot. The permissions included a special permit from the Ministry of Environment to film within the Prek Toal Biosphere.
