Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
(TV show – 44min – 2019)
Chef David Chang takes his insatiable curiosity about food, culture and identity on the road, with A-list stars along for the ride. In Cambodia, he enlisted comedy actress Kate McKinnon as his partner and their adventures brought them to Phnom Penh to navigate the rich and complicated history of Cambodia via tuk tuk, helicopter and boat — and eat everything in their path. Deep conversation about creative approach and general happiness is fueled by endless noodles, amok and tropical fruit.
Award-winning director Morgan Neville was in charge of the production, ably assisted by Kulikar Sotho as Line Producer. Kulikar even appeared in the show enjoying some local food at the Boat Noodle Restaurant in Phnom Penh while sharing something of her personal story with David and Kate. Other local luminaries who appeared in the show include resident journo Luke Hunt who discusses local politics over a sundowner at the Foreign Correspondents’ Club. Hanuman Films also arranged two helicopters for the flight down to Phnom Chisor.
